Alternatively – science removes the human need for a God to make sense of human existence.
However science can say nothing about the meaning of existence as meaning is not a scientific concept.
If we require meaning then we must look elsewhere and that is the essence of religion.
To say that God is Silly is to say that meaning and purpose are silly.
There is also the question how silliness can be gauged in question of the ultimate nature of existence where comparison are, by definition, unavailable!
