All I know is that I am conscious.
Everything else is speculation.
I choose to believe I have free will.
Therefore I must have a Principle of Action, even if
that is only the gratification of my immediate desires
or
a refusal to engage with existence.
I believe I remember my past,
I hope I will experience my future,
I know only now.
